What the scanner checks
The browser reads EXIF, XMP and IPTC fields and checks for C2PA Content Credentials. The file remains on your device.
What metadata does not prove
Metadata can be edited or removed. A field can support an investigation, but it is not cryptographic proof of authorship or truth.
Runs in your browser
The check runs in your browser. Your file is not uploaded — it never reaches our servers. You can verify that in your browser's network tab while a scan runs.
For developers
